Foreman - Pipe
Igel is seeking a Foreman with specific experience in pipe installation.
Hours: 7-5 p.m.; As directed by Job Superintendent to ensure a planned and efficient workday. Saturdays may be required to meet job schedules.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, union
Job Location: Various jobsite as directed
Summary: Foremen work on different types of construction projects. Foreman’s work requires various skills and experience. Our foremen consistently perform as construction professionals by delivering quality work, being prompt, following all safety policies and procedures, and positively communicating to work safely, skillfully, and productively to help build work per plan. Our foremen consistently demonstrate Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Communicates with team about job expectations;
- Assists in planning the work, which includes providing back-up plans for unexpected changes;
- Pre-plans and organizes schedule for work on jobsite;
- Technically proficient in Igel software (Plangrid, HeavyJob, Bluebeam, etc);
- Handles confrontation and deescalates any potential problems that arise on a jobsite
- Works outside in all types of conditions;
- Communicates production goals and safety hazards effectively to field personnel;
- Reports all safety and equipment incidents in accordance with Company policy to the appropriate 24-Hour Incident or 24-Hour Shop Lines;
- Represents the Company in a manner consistent with its mission, vision and values;
- Knows, adheres, and enforces, all company policies and procedures;
- Must have job skills as required by specific specialty ;
- Recognizes how construction work impacts stormwater and soil erosion and work to reduce impacts on the environment ;
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old;
- Must have reliable transportation;
- Must be able to pass a drug test;
- OSHA 30-Hour Training Course completion;
- Must be at least 18 years old;
- Standard First Aid/CPR Certifications
- Ability to use electronic devices with basic computer skills
