We are seeking a motivated self-starter for a full-time Project Manager position to join our team. Candidates must be well versed in the underground utility and sitework industry.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Review plans and specifications to thoroughly understand the scope of a project.
- Attend project meetings and conduct site visits.
- Create schedules, budgets, change order proposals, process submittals, RFIs, and other typical construction administrative items.
- Manage crews and subcontractors on various projects.
- Assist the lead estimator with bidding projects.
- Manage cost control, billings, collections, change management and monthly status reports.
Qualifications:
- Expert in reading and comprehending blueprints and other construction documents.
- Expert in the sitework and underground utility industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer and software skills preferably in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline
- 7 years of experience in site development, underground utilities, or road building.
