Requirements

The Benefit Analyst and Executive Assistant, Office of Faculty and Staff Benefits - Georgetown University provides comprehensive support to the University's retirement savings programs, tuition assistance program, and voluntary benefits, as well as scheduling support for the Chief Benefits Officer. The role includes assisting with the administration of retirement benefits and providing high-level administrative and customer service support across various benefit programs.

Duties include but are not limited to :

Administer and support retirement savings plans, including 403(b) and 457(b), ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Provide customer service and administrative support for the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) and voluntary benefits.

Manage scheduling and calendar coordination for the Chief Benefits Officer, including internal and external communications.

Provide backup scheduling and administrative support to the CHRO.

Provide backup support to the front desk as necessary.

Work Interactions

The Benefit Analyst and Executive Assistant works closely with the Chief Benefits Officer, Retirement Benefit Analyst, the Tuition Assistance Program Analyst, Director of Health Plans, and other members of the Office of Faculty and Staff Benefits. The position reports jointly to the Retirement Benefit Analyst and the Chief Benefits Officer whom they support through scheduling and administrative duties. Regular interactions with internal stakeholders, such as employees and other HR team members, and external stakeholders, such as retirement investment partners and various universities and colleges, ensure the smooth administration of benefit programs. This role directly contributes to the University’s mission by supporting its faculty and staff through efficient benefits administration.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Benefit Analyst and Executive Assistant position should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, although equivalent experience will be considered. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in benefits administration, human resources, or a related field. Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS systems is highly desirable for this role, as it involves managing administrative processes and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills are essential, allowing the candidate to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also critical, particularly with a focus on customer service, as the position involves frequent interaction with employees and leadership. The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism is a fundamental requirement.

Pay Range :

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is :

44,022.00 - $73,406.80

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
