Assistant Director of Sports Ministry

If you are called to Sports Ministry and Recreation Camp Ministry, this would be a great, full-time position for the right person. The Assistant Director of Sports Ministry at Dunwoody Baptist Church is a great opportunity to combine a passion for Ministry and Sports in a growing and diverse community where the world is on your doorstep. This position will be working closely with the Director of Recreation and Wellness at the church as we desire to be used by God in the community as a Sports Ministry. Desired Education & Experience

• BA or BS degree strongly preferred- Specifically in Sports Administration or Ministry
• Experience in collegiate sports, competitive sports leagues, or sports management is a significant plus
• 2 years experience in discipleship of children or youth preferred
• Served in Sports Ministry/Sports League in an Director/Administrator role.
  
  

The Assistant Director of Sports shall implement programs and lead sports programs with specific attention to discipleship of participants, invitation into the broader life of Dunwoody Baptist Church, and to reflect a Christ-like spirit in all aspects of the job. A significant degree of cross-engagement with the Children and Student Ministry is expected.
