WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office hours: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 – 2:00; part-time position - 20 hours per week; salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications; no child-care available; position is directly responsible to the pastor.

Responsibilities
OFFICE MANAGER
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate ministry areas
- Distribute mail to appropriate staff and School representative
- Receive visiting members and guests, deepening relationships as opportunity allows
- Act as Liaison between church/school regarding policies, schedule, bills & facility use
- Maintain schedule of facilities by members for personal use and ensure reset
- Inventory & order office and janitorial supplies
- Maintain office equipment in good working order; schedule repair as needed
- Maintain records & history for all church occurrences
- Renew all software licenses for website, music, tax I.D., & memberships (Sams, etc)
- Work with the Budget Finance Committee in annual budget development
- Support Counting Team and assist the deposit of weekly offerings with bank
- Post offerings weekly to member records; maintain confidentiality and tax records
- Post receipts and disbursements of all budgetary accounts using Logos system
- Pay and distribute all bills, recording payments to accounting system
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements monthly; review with Budget Finance
- Prepare & mail monthly support to all associations, missions & ministries
- Prepare financial reports for monthly Budget Finance and church business meetings
- Answer questions about financial matters from members or direct to ministry leaders
- Prepare and issue weekly staff member paychecks
- Assist benevolent requests with form completion and assignment to Deacons
- Maintain master church-wide calendar of events with time and resources in mind
- Support Ministry Team and Committee meetings with materials & records as needed
- Assist Ministry and event meetings with facilities, records and materials; ensure reset of rooms and furniture used
- Maintain Small Group attendance and class notebooks
- Assist pastor and staff members with ministry goals, plans, and information as requested
- Maintain updated church mailing list, prospect and visitation files
- Compile literature orders for all ministries; order curriculum & other support materials
