JOB SUMMARY: Provide administrative support for Associate Pastor and Program Directors for Youth Sports Leagues and JF Fitness program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serve as the Ministry Assistant to the Associate Pastor, Sports & Fitness
- Keep the Sports and Fitness Ministry and all other ministries in the Central Pod well-stocked with office supplies.
- Reserve rooms and send out invites for recreation staff meetings.
- Process purchase orders for the Sports & Fitness Ministry.
- Print budget reports upon request.
- Assist with preparation for Sports & Fitness mission trips.
- Assist with the administrative details of the youth sports leagues
- Create and manage registration of events and groups for the different sports leagues in Ministry Platform.
- Reply to emails regarding registration and general inquiries.
- Schedule needed facilities in EMS for each event.
- Assist with creating and promoting marketing materials for Sports & Fitness leagues/events.
- Oversee Sports & Fitness league registrations.
- Assist with maintaining coaching applications for different Sports & Fitness leagues.
- Organize materials, reports, and player cards needed for evaluations.
- Create evaluation spots for each youth sports league in Ministry Platform.
- Prepare and organize reports for Draft week.
- Proof schedules, teams, and team draft petitions during Draft week.
- Create groups for each team in Ministry Platform (average of 30 teams for each league).
- Assist with organizing registrations between Ministry Platform and Upward League Management.
- Assist with organizing player and team uniforms.
- Assist with Gospel Week Presentations.
- Assist with organizing end-of-season events for different Sports & Fitness leagues.
- Oversee utilization of concession stand for both Sports & Fitness leagues as well as fans.
- Recruit volunteer buddies for Shine special needs sports.
- Assist in ministering to the parents and coaches in the Sports & Fitness leagues.
- Provide leadership to part-time sports staff working the sports desk.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Assist with the administrative details of the JF Fitness program
- Create and manage registration of events and groups for each semester of JF Fitness in Ministry Platform & EMS.
- Reply to emails regarding registration and general inquiries.
- Create groups for each class in Ministry Platform (average of 30 classes for each semester).
- Processing and submitting payroll for all instructors to the business department.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor and Fitness Director.
- General Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in all regular staff meetings, functions, retreats, training, etc.
- Support the Senior Pastor and all other church staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- College degree preferred
- Previous experience working a support/administrative role
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of standing and sitting. Sitting at a desk or working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15-20 pounds at times.
