Position: Medical Assistant
Are you passionate about women’s health and breast care? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment? If so, Georgia Breast Care is seeking an energetic, organized, detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team and make a meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care & Support, Collaborate directly with the physician, mid-level provider, and practice manager to ensure seamless patient interactions. Prepare and turn over exam rooms with precision and efficiency. Escort patients with professionalism and empathy, creating a welcoming environment. Collect and document thorough medical histories accurately.
Clinical & Administrative Duties:
Assist with ultrasound evaluations (training will be provided). Manage routine back-office functions, including sterilization techniques and exam room maintenance. Handle patient calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate prescription refills. Maintain accurate charts and medical records, ensuring data integrity. Operate office equipment, including computers, telephones, and fax machines.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and sterilization protocols, maintaining a safe and compliant clinical environment.
Qualifications: Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Experience: 1 year of clinical experience (preferred). Experience with EMR systems and vital signs monitoring is a must. Certifications: BLS Certification (preferred). Certified Medical Assistant (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
