What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate - Fabric Folder position at Georgia Expo Manufacturing?
Position Summary: As a Folder in the Sewing Department for Georgia Expo, you will be responsible for the proper folding of the finished product before it is packed for shipping.
Areas of Responsibility:
Safety
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in the Sewing Department.
- Understand and follow all safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment as assigned.
Production
- Fold finished drape products in a nice and neat manner to be packaged and shipped to customers.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Sewing Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Plant Manager.
Skill Requirements:
- Ability to adapt and be flexible with tasks assigned.
- Ability to work independently, and on teams.
- Above average oral and written communication skills.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs occasionally.

Pay: $12.00 per hour
