Description : Job Summary :
The Orthopedic Technician / Medical Assistant will provide clinical support to the Clinic Manager and Physicians by guiding the patient flow in and out of the clinic.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Observe patient’s condition, report observations or concerns to physician and records appropriate documentation in patient’s records.
- Obtain and record patient vitals.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures using aseptic principles in creating and maintaining a sterile field during procedures.
- Use technical skills regarding positioning, wound care, and dressings.
- Maintain stock items for examination and procedure rooms, forms used by clinical staff.
- Apply and remove casts or prepare DME for patients.
- Perform x-rays in the absence of x-ray technician
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
