Georgia Highlands College is a multi-campus, state college member of the University System of Georgia. Founded in 1970 as Floyd Junior College, it now serves more than 6,000 students in Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama across its five locations in Rome, Cartersville, Marietta, and Dallas. Job Summary


Facilitate general financial aid and Business Office processes as needed

Responsibilities

  • Help with FAFSAs and other processes as needed (Checking Charger Portal, schedule bill, and other basic financial aid and Business Office processes as needed)
  • Work Customer Service desk
  • Shredding
  • Scanning
  • Posting flyers and other advertisements
  • Filing
  • Making Copies
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications


  • Must be currently enrolled at Georgia Highlands College
  • Must be Pell Grant eligible (FAFSA)
  • Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
  • Must have an unmet need based on total cost of attendance of student

Proposed Salary


$12.00 per hour,

up to 19 hours per week

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: None required, training will be provided
  • Skillful in oral and written communication
