Job Summary
We are seeking a chaplain to join our team who is committed to guiding each patient with dignity and compassion. As a chaplain, you will be responsible for providing spiritual care support and guidance that honors the patient's beliefs and values. Working with the care team, you will develop, implement, and supervise the spiritual needs of the patient and family.
Responsibilities
* Provide spiritual care support and guidance to patients and families
* Develop, implement, and supervise the spiritual needs of patients and families
* Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive care
* Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care plans
* Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and progress
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in counseling, theology, divinity, or related field
* Completion of one unit of clinical pastoral education or minister services preferred
* 2 years of experience in a healthcare or hospice setting required
* Experience in family counseling regarding issues of loss, grief, death, and dying required
* Reliable transportation
* Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 25 lbs
