We are looking for a highly skilled ETL SDET - QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Hopkins, MN. This role requires an expert in ETL testing, SQL, and automation with a strong background in QA methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with large-scale data platforms, BI systems, and web services to ensure high-quality data validation and system integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute ETL test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks
- Validate data transformations, data migration, and database integrity across OLTP and BI domains
- Perform complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data
- Conduct API and web services testing using SOAP UI, Postman, or similar tools
- Collaborate with development, business, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and resolve defects
- Work with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation tools
- Ensure compliance with best QA practices, data governance, and regulatory standards
Required Skills & Experience:
- 9 years of experience in QA/testing across web, client, and database applications
- 4 years of hands-on experience with SQL, ETL testing, and database validation
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for large datasets
- Strong understanding of data modeling, solution architecture, and automation tools
- Experience with test planning, test data management, and defect tracking tools
- Ability to analyze requirements, create test cases, and report results effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaborative Agile environments
