What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Georgia Mountain Ophthalmology?
Georgia Mountain Ophthalmology is a busy retina practice serving most of North Georgia, some of Tennessee, North Carolina and many patients from Florida that travel back and forth during different parts of the year. Dr. Camp's main focus is retina related diseases and problems such as macular degeneration, retinal holes/tears/detachments and diabetic eye disease. We also have a full time medical optometrist. Our practice is now looking for a part-time or full -time ophthalmic technician that can work closely with both doctors. Skills and knowledge are needed in manual refractions, slit lamp exams, applanation tonometry, fluorescein angiograms and fundus photos. We would like to add someone to our team that works well with others and has a warm personality while efficiently working up patients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.46 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
