Job Summary:
This position is responsible for performing the routine and non-routine tasks of the landscaping division to ensure the high aesthetic standards of GNFA grounds.
Qualification Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain all GNFA plants and ponds and help provide beautifications for all GNFA events.
- Monitor divisional inventory and notify immediate supervisor of needed tools, supplies and equipment.
- Other duties, functions and special assignments as directed by the Landscaping/Irrigation Superintendent.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to perform successfully with minimal instructions and supervision.
- Ability to safely operate a variety of heavy machinery.
- Ability to demonstrate a good working knowledge of landscaping and irrigation techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of and ability to abide by all policies and procedures of the GNFA.
Other:
- Travel from office to other location may be required.
- Must possess and maintain appropriate certifications for the operation of all equipment, machinery, vehicles, etc.
- This position may require an irregular work schedule and the performance of work assignments which may not be directly related to job specifications.
- A valid driver’s license is required.

Guidelines:
The Landscaping/Irrigation Technician II must comply with generally accepted professional practices as well as relevant State and Federal regulations. Such guidelines are generally clear and specific, but may require some interpretation in their application.
Minimum Training and/or Experience to Perform Essential Job Functions:
Education level commonly associated with a high school diploma, with 2-3 years relevant work experience in a landscaping or a related field. However, a combination of education and experience may be used to meet minimum requirements.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
