Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our water and wastewater plant locations. Must have a good driving and safety record.
Responsibilities
- Perform mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
- Utilize hand tools and power equipment for effective landscape maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify areas needing attention.
- Provide lawn care services, including fertilization, aeration, and weed control.
- Execute groundskeeping tasks to uphold the cleanliness and presentation of outdoor spaces.
- Collaborate with team members on various landscaping projects as needed.
- Must have good driving record.
- Pre-employment background and drug test required.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance required.
- Familiarity with mowing techniques, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is essential.
- Experience using a zero turn mower, John Deere tractor, enclosed trailer and attachments required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
- A commitment to safety practices while working in outdoor environments.
