**Job Description:**
This position is responsible for processing and closing U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 7a loans and U.S. Department of Agriculture Business and Industry (USDA B&I) loans. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of previous commercial lending experience in a bank or lending environment, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in government lending.
- The successful candidate will work closely with loan officers to gather information for underwriting and loan approval.
- They will prepare loan packages for submission to the SBA, enter loans into ETRAN, and submit them for preferred lender status.
- Additional responsibilities include pulling credit reports, generating lists of necessary documentation, and verifying borrower equity prior to closing.
- The candidate will also assist with having loan documents signed for sale in the secondary market, engage third-party front-end analysis, and inspect reports on construction loans.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Proficient with general office machines and programs, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software used in the department.
- Able to use the computer efficiently and learn new software programs as they are rolled out by the Bank.
