Job Purpose: The HR Coordinator provides vital administrative and operational support across key areas of Human Resources, including employee benefits, onboarding and offboarding, leave management, performance review coordination, HR compliance, and data reporting. This role serves as a central point of contact for HR-related inquiries and ensures the accuracy and integrity of HR processes and records.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical employee records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage updates to HR systems, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee changes.
- Support compliance initiatives by maintaining current and accurate content on internal HR platforms, including the intranet and shared drives.
Employee Lifecycle Support
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires and departing employees.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to support the transition of candidates into active employees.
- Prepare employee documentation as required, including status changes, leave forms, and other employment-related materials.
Benefits & Leave Administration
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit questions, offering guidance or directing employees to appropriate resources.
- Support the coordination and communication of benefit programs, including annual open enrollment.
- Assist with leave of absence tracking and documentation in line with company policies.
Performance & Training Programs
- Support the administration of performance management cycles, including goal-setting and annual reviews.
- Coordinate training initiatives and student externship opportunities in partnership with local schools or educational institutions.
HR Projects & Reporting
- Assist in generating standard and ad hoc HR reports as needed.
- Lead or support special HR projects and initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally as required.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 2 years of human resource or administrative experience.
- Must have a valid State of Georgia Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
