What You’ll Do as Store Manager:
As the Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly and exceeds both customer and business expectations. Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Schedule and manage staff to ensure proper coverage during high-traffic periods.
- Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, policies, and updates.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all local and state liquor laws and regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, product ordering, and vendor relationships.
- Implement and maintain merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping experience.
E-commerce Growth Support
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to streamline online order fulfillment processes.
- Oversee staff involved in preparing online orders for pick-up and delivery.
- Monitor and improve the customer experience for both in-store and online shoppers.
Sales & Customer Experience
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and implement strategies to drive revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Actively engage with customers to provide expert product recommendations.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a passionate, experienced retail professional with:
- Proven Leadership Skills: At least 3–5 years of management experience in retail, preferably in a high-volume liquor store.
- Customer Service Expertise: A strong commitment to creating an outstanding shopping experience.
- Business Acumen: Ability to analyze sales trends, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
- E-commerce Savvy: Experience in online order fulfillment and understanding of e-commerce processes is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with wine, beer, and spirits is highly desirable.
- Flexibility and Drive: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts quickly to changing needs.
