Geost seeks a highly capable Director of Capture Strategy to lead and manage capture efforts for SAP / SAR programs to enable Geost corporate growth. This role will lead the capture of federal contracting opportunities and supporting Geost Growth and Strategy proposal process development. An ideal candidate will possess a sound knowledge of the Space and Airborne SAP / SAR customers, Federal Contracting Business Development lifecycle, proposal development processes, and schedule management. The hire will lead teams through the capture process to win contracts with extensive experience working both space and airborne classified programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and market participants to identify market drivers and trends that result in the development of marketing, branding, and capture strategies.
- Produce capture products such as competitive assessments, teaming strategies, and prices-to-win analyses to improve win probability.
- Develop relationships with teaming partners and industry associations to drive partnerships.
- Monitor, research, and analyze business landscape to create competitive advantages.
- Organize and lead teams in developing Price to Win strategies and targets.
- Conduct capture assessments including competition and solution analyses.
- Lead development of proposal win themes, strengths, and discriminators.
- Develop milestone and Gate Reviews and present them to senior leadership for approval to continue capture activities.
- Develop and manage bid and proposal budgets to maximize the efficiency of business development resources.
- Provide guidance and support to capture teams on technical, pricing, and contractual issues.
- Lead writing efforts for various portions of responses to BAAs, RFIs, and RFPs.
- Ensure development and delivery of high-quality bid products and artifacts.
- Support on-site work, as needed..
- Support travel or off-site work, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
