As a Commercial Lines Account Representative at Gerelli Insurance Agency, Inc., you will work closely with customers and carriers providing insurance customer service pertaining to renewals, proposals, claims, and cancellations. You will maintain strong relationships, act as an advisor, and make recommendations to your assigned client load.
Our Community Association team specializes in providing insurance protection for condominiums, cooperative apartments, and homeowners associations. We write several hundred associations in the tri-state area, using the finest community association insurance products available. We work closely with property managers and the boards to make sure that their insurance program is the most competitive and comprehensive available. These coverages primarily include: General Liability, Property, Crime, Directors and Officers Liability, Workers Compensation and Umbrella Liability.
Reporting to our Community Association Supervisor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Daily communication with assigned customers providing insurance advice and service to designated clients
• Adding new policies to existing client or adding/changing coverages to a current policy
• Reviewing renewal coverages/premiums
• Creating renewal proposal if applicable
• Making recommendations and binding renewal policies
• Gathering updated information regarding exposures
• Remarketing and rounding of accounts
• Reviewing current coverages and making recommendations
• Processing all aspects of endorsements, renewals, claims, and cancellations
• Negotiating and gathering information from underwriters
You are someone who has:
• NYS P&C license required
• 2 years’ experience in an independent insurance agency
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in AMS360 or similar agency management software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong detail orientation and time management skills

Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is $50,000 – $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
