Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of automated systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of both low and high voltage systems, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Automation Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automation equipment and systems.
- Fabricate components as needed to support automation projects.
- Calibrate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on Vision inspection systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to militarise automated processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to test electrical components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on both low voltage and high voltage systems.
Skills
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of automation technologies and systems.
- Proficiency in fabricating parts or components for automation applications.
- Ability to maintain and calibrate various types of machinery.
- Experience with Vision inspection systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
- Competence in using testing equipment such as an ohmmeter.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
