Position Overview:
The Personal Lines Insurance Agent specializing in customer renewals is responsible for retaining existing clients by managing policy renewals, addressing customer needs, and ensuring the best possible coverage options. This role focuses on building strong relationships, delivering excellent service, and maintaining high retention rates through proactive communication and account reviews.
Renewal Management:
- Monitor upcoming policy renewals and initiate timely outreach to clients.
- Review existing coverage with clients to identify any changes in needs or circumstances.
- Provide clients with updated quotes and discuss options for renewing or adjusting their policies.
Client Retention:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote long-term loyalty.
- Proactively address any client concerns or objections to ensure retention.
- Educate clients on the benefits of their coverage and identify opportunities to enhance protection.
Policy Servicing:
- Process renewal transactions, including premium adjustments, coverage modifications, and endorsements.
- Ensure accuracy of all policy documentation and maintain detailed records in the agency management system.
- Assist clients with billing inquiries, claims support, and other service-related needs.
Cross-Selling and Upselling:
- Identify opportunities to offer additional lines of coverage or enhanced policy features that meet client needs.
- Educate clients on the value of umbrella policies, additional endorsements, or bundled discounts.
Collaboration with Carriers and Team Members:
- Work with insurance carriers to secure competitive renewal terms and resolve underwriting concerns.
- Collaborate with producers and other team members to address complex client needs or high-value accounts.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all renewal processes comply with regulatory and agency standards.
- Prepare reports on renewal activity, retention rates, and client feedback for management review.
Valid Driver's License and Background Check Performed
PA Property & Casualty License Required
