Germanna Community College is a two-year public institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System. As a comprehensive community college, Germanna provides quality, accessible, and affordable educational opportunities for the residents of the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, Culpeper, King George, Madison, Orange, Spotsylvania and Stafford.
The Dental Assisting Department at Germanna Community College is currently seeking didactic and clinical adjunct professors for face-to-face teaching assignments to serve in the following areas:
Dental Materials, Dental Science, and Chairside Assisting II. This role includes didactic instruction in dental materials, dental science, and externship supervision. The position will work in coordination with the dentist faculty member who is delivering restorative dental services. Adjunct faculty may be required to oversee simulated and clinical instruction of students assisting.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- CDA from the Dental Assisting National Board and a Bachelor’s degree
- Complete Growing with Canvas and TOPS 2.2 prior to teaching (will be provided by the college)
- Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools
- Prior teaching experience
- Work experience in the field
- Experience with online teaching
