This is a rare opportunity reporting directly to the company's President in a greenfield environment; you'll have the autonomy to drive decision-making and shape the company’s future as they expand their service offerings. The organization is a thriving West Coast contract manufacturer that is excelling in the clinical space and now expanding into commercial operations, with less regional competition and a growing market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the launch and integration of new commercial projects.
- Serve as the commercial lead for key customer partnerships.
- Drive the execution of business and commercial strategies for development and manufacturing.
- Contribute to facility expansion and capital investment planning, including the establishment of a greenfield commercial facility.
- Develop and implement a strategy for lead generation and qualification in collaboration with the BD team.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Participate in customer site visits to support onboarding and strengthen client relationships.
- Represent the commercial team in budget planning discussions.
- Manage the commercial portfolio and ensure successful product delivery.
- Lead and oversee the technical and production teams within manufacturing operations.
- Maintain close coordination with quality, project management, and executive leadership teams.
Leadership & Supervision:
- Directs workflow and activities of the commercial operations team.
- Works alongside senior leadership to develop and manage personnel.
Education and Experience:
Education: BS in Life Science, Engineering, etc.
10 years' experience in CDMO/CMO Commercial Operations. MS or Ph.D. preferred
