What You’ll Do:
- Hit the Road: You’ll be traveling up to 75% of the time, working both domestically and internationally, depending on the need.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Respond to customer requests for maintenance and repair; diagnose and fix problems, both indoors and outdoors.
- Routine Maintenance: Follow a maintenance schedule to keep equipment and labs operating efficiently and safely.
- Coordinate & Communicate: Work with vendors for larger repairs, order supplies, and parts, and keep customers informed.
- Be the Go-To Expert: Use your skills to set up and level trailer laboratories, operate hand and power tools, and use lab software.
- Keep Things Organized: Write service and expense reports, manage parts shipping, and help cross-departmental teams when needed.
What You’ll Bring:
- A Florida Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
- A passion for working independently and solving problems with minimal supervision.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
- A solid understanding of shop mathematics, blueprint reading, and measuring instruments (U.S. Standard and Metric).
- Excellent communication skills to work with customers and internal teams.
- Physical stamina: You’ll need to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., crouch, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various outdoor environments.
- Basic computer skills – knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with Cleanroom, HEPA filters, basic electricity, plumbing, air conditioning, or HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical trades, or hands-on technical work.
