Production Superintendent in Standard Equipment
The Production Superintendent supports the Standard Equipment Team and the Director of Operations to deliver our products on time and on budget. They collaborate with leaders across the organization to coordinate projects, drive processes, and execute R&D objectives. The Superintendent champions a lean environment and mindset, flexing between standard and custom product manufacturing. Cross-functional teamwork is essential.
This role assists the Production Leadership Team in developing strategic objectives, translating them into tactical objectives for the Production team. This includes monitoring and developing Key Process Indicators (KPIs) and removing obstacles. They must understand all aspects of Standard Equipment, ensuring a positive client experience and achieving business objectives. The Production Superintendent mentors and guides their direct reports in Operational Excellence, Project Management, Leadership, and Personal Development.

Essential Duties include but are not limited to the following:
· Drives a Safety-First Environment and a culture of accountability and excellence for their direct reports
· Provides strategic leadership and subject matter expertise to Value Stream Leadership Team and Production Team, ensuring the best practices are used throughout the Value Stream in alignment with Vivid Vision
· Achieves the Value Stream’s annual financial and operational objectives.
· Collaborates with the Value Stream Manager to track and coordinate resources for key projects, processes, and continuous improvement opportunities to achieve targets, meeting/exceeding client and business expectations.
· Manages performance using visual management and maintaining KPIs, accountability/corrective actions and other pertinent informationâÂÂ
· Routinely engages with employees, facilitate/assist in root cause problem-solving for safety, people, quality, delivery and cost (SPQDC), gathering information and input from Project Managers, Supervisors, support staff, and operators to make decisions
· Supports the teams closest to the work through direct engagement, coaching and mentoring.âÂÂ
· âÂÂEnsures the team’s understanding of levers the Value Stream teams can pull to improve profitability.
· Leads and drives Lean Manufacturing initiatives, recommending strategies and opportunities to drive higher efficiencies, remove waste, and improve quality
· Establishes all the potential risks in the objectives within the Value Stream and prepare adequate mitigation procedures.
· Maintains open, effective lines of communications with Leadership and other key stakeholders.
· Utilizes key systems and tools to manage data, drive performance and solve problems (i.e. ERP, Salesforce, Project Management software, etc.)

Ideal qualifications:

· 5 years’ experience successfully executing the Essential duties in Operations or Project Management
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or other related technical degrees
· MBA, PMP, and/or Lean Certifications
· Demonstrated leadership in leading operations, project management, or continuous improvement programs
· Demonstrated knowledge of professional communications, problem-solving, strategic reasoning, teamwork, change management, business acumen, and business ethics
