As an Pricing Estimator / Senior Estimator, you’ll play a key role in optimizing our operational models and ensuring that our offerings are strategically priced to meet market dynamics and maximize profitability. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative products and services while staying ahead of the competition.

What You’ll Do:

• Strategic Pricing: Develop and implement pricing strategies for all Germfree’s business segments and product lines, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and approval processes.
• Cost Estimation: Analyze and estimate costs for labor, materials, equipment, and other direct expenses while accounting for fluctuating supply chain conditions.
• Proposal Development: Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Operations, and Finance teams to prepare material estimates for proposal submittals.
• Risk & Opportunity Assessment: Evaluate risks and opportunities during the proposal process and present findings to senior leadership.
• Pricing Database Management: Create and maintain pricing databases with accurate cost estimates across all product lines.
• Market Research: Conduct competitive pricing analysis to keep Germfree ahead of market trends.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead long-term strategic projects to enhance pricing tools, processes, and best practices.
• Executive Communication: Present pricing reviews, cost issues, and strategic insights to senior and executive leadership.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to set pricing for new offerings and update prices throughout the product lifecycle.

What You’ll Bring:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5-10 years in design/build construction or manufacturing environments.
  • 5 years of estimating and costing experience, including recurring revenue business models (leasing, maintenance agreements).
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Expertise in proposal preparation, including RFP analysis and bid strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present complex concepts clearly.
  • Leadership capabilities to influence and collaborate across teams.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience developing subcontract pricing templates and approval processes.
• A knack for creating and delivering clear, compelling presentations to senior leadership.
