Job Description
- Milling:
- Manufacture and machine parts according to technical drawings.
- Create CAM programs for efficient machining operations.
- Perform independent quality control of milled components to ensure precision.
- Cylindrical Grinding:
- Produce and machine parts as specified by drawings.
- Conduct independent quality inspections of completed components.
- Eroding:
- Manufacture and machine parts following drawings and specifications.
- Develop programs for eroding processes.
- Independently verify the quality of eroded components.
- Manage the electrode store and inventory.
- General:
- Operate machinery independently to complete tasks.
- Assist in and perform maintenance on machines in line with set guidelines.
- Record any dimensional changes directly on technical drawings.
- Ensure both the quality and quantity of output meet required standards autonomously.
- Completed 3-year technical apprenticeship (e.g., as a tool mechanic) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the maintenance of injection molds.
- Strong technical understanding of machine tools, particularly in milling, cylindrical grinding, and eroding processes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Experience in creating CAM programs for machining processes.
- Hands-on experience in conducting quality checks and maintaining high standards of precision.
- Familiarity with maintaining machine tools and troubleshooting common mechanical issues.
- High attention to detail and commitment to ensuring both quality and efficiency in production processes.
- Strong organizational skills, particularly in managing electrode stores or similar inventory.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
