Job Description

Milling :

Manufacture and machine parts according to technical drawings.

Create CAM programs for efficient machining operations.

Perform independent quality control of milled components to ensure precision.

Cylindrical Grinding :

Produce and machine parts as specified by drawings.

Conduct independent quality inspections of completed components.

Eroding :

Manufacture and machine parts following drawings and specifications.

Develop programs for eroding processes.

Independently verify the quality of eroded components.

Manage the electrode store and inventory.

General :

Operate machinery independently to complete tasks.

Assist in and perform maintenance on machines in line with set guidelines.

Record any dimensional changes directly on technical drawings.

Ensure both the quality and quantity of output meet required standards autonomously.

Qualifications

Completed 3-year technical apprenticeship (e.g., as a tool mechanic) or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the maintenance of injection molds.

Strong technical understanding of machine tools, particularly in milling, cylindrical grinding, and eroding processes.

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Experience in creating CAM programs for machining processes.

Hands-on experience in conducting quality checks and maintaining high standards of precision.

Familiarity with maintaining machine tools and troubleshooting common mechanical issues.

High attention to detail and commitment to ensuring both quality and efficiency in production processes.

Strong organizational skills, particularly in managing electrode stores or similar inventory.

Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
