About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled business developer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing business contacts and attracting mortgage customers. You will work closely with realtors, builders, and other professionals to provide expert advice and guidance on residential mortgage loans.
Responsibilities:
* Develop referral sources for purchase and refinance mortgages from realtors, builders, and professional contacts
* Build rapport with clients, analyze financial situations, determine the appropriate loan product to meet their goals, and submit a preliminary loan package for processing
* Proactively seek ways to develop and expand referral network relationships to achieve sales goals
* Work in a professional office environment and routinely use standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
Requirements:
* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales is preferred but not required
* ~2 years of retail, residential mortgage sales experience
* ~ Documented success with residential purchase/refinance mortgage loans preferred
* ~ Established relationships with local referral networks
