Customer Sales Representative

Become a trusted animal and pet care expert with Spikes and Houles! Our Stillwater location is seeking to hire a Part Time Customer Sales Representatives for day, evening, and weekend shifts. This position offers an opportunity to assist our customers in the care and nutrition of their animals. Being known as an Equine Headquarters, we serve our equine friends as well as a variety of other animals - large and small! Under the supervision of the Store Lead, this position performs a variety of customer service and sales functions. These duties include but are not limited to greeting customer and providing solutions and alternatives to ensure the customer is satisfied. You'll also be cross trained in warehouse operations and trained to operate warehouse equipment.

As a Customer Sales Representative you will :

• Sell specific products and services to consumers.
• Discuss warranties and replacement parts.
• Check inventory to ensure product is in stock.
• Bag and package purchases.
• Collect methods of payment and dispense change.
• Collect and research information needed to identify and resolve problematic situations.
• Operate cash registers.
• Count the day's money transactions at the end of the day.
• Set up display cases and stock shelves
• Ensure pricing is correct.
• Distribute coupons and verify that coupons are not expired.
• Other tasks and special projects as assigned.
