Gervaise Gerstner Dermatology offers a comprehensive mix of medical and cosmetic dermatology services. Cosmetic treatments include microneedling, Botox, fillers, Clear Brilliant, Coolift, Glacial Rx, Fraxel, laser hair removal, CoolSculpting, VBeam, HydraFacial, and the Tixel device. Common medical consultations include annual skin exams, acne, rashes, rosacea, hair disorders, hyperhidrosis, psoriasis, telangiectasias, and more.

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in Hospitality or Medical management preferred
  • Medical Assistant/Medical Administration
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Ability to give direction with confidence
  • Hard-working and willing to be part of a team
  • Desire to grow with the practice
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to think creatively and multitask
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Spreadsheet
  • Organized planning and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily front-office operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, scheduling, and workflow.
  • Optimize patient flow to maximize efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and medical documentation standards.
  • Knowledge and utilization of EMR, medical coding, and billing relevant to practice
  • Oversee billing and collections portion of the office
  • Work effectively with vendors to renew/negotiate contracts
  • Willing to float to other roles when colleagues are out or to grow more in the company

Marketing & Growth Support

  • Assist in executing community engagement initiatives, including local events and partnerships
  • Work with leadership on referral development, ensuring strong relationships with other healthcare and medical sales professionals
  • Coordinate direct mail campaigns, social media engagement, and promotional efforts to drive patient volume.
  • Independently drive key change and transformation initiatives aligned with organizational strategic goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clinic operations and problem-solving.
  • Ability to implement new processes at existing offices.

Patient Experience & Community Engagement

  • Create a welcoming, professional environment that prioritizes patient care.
  • Exhibit patience, respect, and emotional maturity when interacting with patients, more specifically in times of conflict
  • Manage patient communications, including appointment reminders, follow-ups, and billing inquiries
  • Assist in implementing patient education initiatives, including informational materials and community outreach events

Financial & Insurance Oversight

  • Oversee billing, insurance verification, and reimbursement processes to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage clinic supply inventory, vendor relationships, and cost control measures.
  • Intuit Quickbooks knowledge/familiarity preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
