Role Summary:
Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, the AVP of Digital Product Management will be responsible for shaping, overseeing, and driving the product delivery strategy to achieve value-based outcomes aligned with the Credit Unions goals and market needs. This role involves managing people, processes, and systems, and includes developing a team of high-performing digital product owners. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive product delivery strategy, translating product vision into actionable roadmaps, refining product delivery processes, gathering and analyzing stakeholder feedback, monitoring key performance indicators, ensuring agile delivery of solutions, and collaborating with strategic business leaders and departmental stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective working relationships both internally and externally and have a proven track record in digital product management, capable of driving innovation and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital product strategy aligned with the Credit Unions vision and goals.
- Identify market opportunities and define product roadmaps to drive growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with business leaders to set priorities and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.
- Develop and oversee the team's budget to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Oversee the creation of detailed product specifications, user stories, and wireframes.
- Ensure high-quality product releases through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of product owners, while ensuring accountability.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages continuous learning and improvement.
- Set clear goals and performance metrics for team members and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
- Advocate for the member by ensuring that all digital products deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Conduct market research, user testing, and data analysis to gather insights and inform product decisions.
- Work with the member experience team to monitor member feedback and usage metrics to identify areas for improvement and iterate on product features.
- Work closely with all necessary business partners like marketing, sales, compliance, and other departments to ensure seamless product launches and go-to-market strategies and ongoing changes.
- Coordinate with technology teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of product features and enhancements.
- Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders as needed.
- Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with business partners to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital products.
- Analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making and demonstrate the impact of digital initiatives.
- Continuously optimize product performance based on data-driven insights and feedback.
- Develop effective and informative feedback loops through various departments within the organization
About You:
- Provide knowledgeable, professional, friendly service to all members.
- Maintain deep knowledge of design, development, and implementation strategies of digital products as well as marketing communication techniques and methodology.
- High level knowledge of the technology stack and API middleware.
- High level knowledge of Agile Software Development Practices and Scrum Practices
- High level knowledge of collaboration tools, like Azure Devops, Trello, Jira, etc.
- Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in and support a team environment. Ability to work with and influence vendor partners.

What You Will Need:
- Four (4) year degree or an equivalent combination of specialized courses and related training or experience. A masters in computer science, MIS, or Business is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial services and banking applications, with a particular focus on digital channels.
- Five (5) to ten years of similar or related experience in Product Management leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of architecture, design and implementations of products and applications.
- Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Deep understanding of product development methodologies, user experience principles, and technology trends
- Result-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering impact and driving business growth
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong judgment and analytical skills, including the ability to understand business requirements, integrate qualitative and quantitative metrics, and reconcile short-term needs with long-term strategic goals; and
- Expert in Agile practices such as iterative development, incremental delivery, backlog management, burn down metrics, velocity and task definition
- Solid analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail
- Some travel may be required to fulfill duties, career development, and/or responsibilities.

Salary Range:
$157,641.17 - $236,461.76
