*The Developer II position has the ability to work fully remote from Washington, Oregon or Idaho.*

Role Summary:

The Developer II will play a crucial role in the development, enhancement, and support of our applications. This individual will work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Sr. Developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our banking operations. The Developer II is expected to stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our applications remain competitive and secure.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Work with Project Managers, Product Owners, and other developers to develop custom software applications
  • Design, develop, and test code in alignment with Gesas coding standards
  • Develop custom WEB APIs to integrate software components
  • Write unit tests as needed for their or others software components
  • Design and implement security measures for their assigned application area
  • Maintain knowledge of current and evolving technology, evaluate changes in or new technology, and provide Senior Developers with information relevant to new technologies (hardware, software, or services) that could be beneficial
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications and systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

About You:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in an agile and scrum environment
  • A working knowledge of web security principles and other security systems
  • Ability to analyze information and recommend achievable process improvements to management
  • Self-motivated and able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks

Technologies:

  • Must be familiar with at least one modern front-end technology like Angular
  • Must be familiar with at least one modern back-end technology like NodeJS express, or .NET
  • Experience with at least one modern database tool like SQL Server or Oracle
  • Experience with GIT source control
  • Experience working and developing against REST and SOAP APIs
  • Experience with an integration platform like Mulesoft
  • Specific coding languages include but are not limited to: C#, Typescript, JavaScript and Java
  • Familiar with microservices architecture and container technology like Docker

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent of specialized courses, training, and/or directly related experience may be substituted
  • A minimum of three (3) years of similar or related functional and technical experience. At least one (1) year of Mulesoft development preferred
  • Knowledge of the Financial Industry, products, and services. Credit Union experience preferred
  • Ability to travel to complete assigned responsibilities and attend professional seminars and education as approved

Certifications:

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 (Preferred)
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2 (Preferred)

Salary Range:

$97,915.62 - $146,873.43
