Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 2-6 credits of designated contact time with students.
- Design and prepare stimulating lectures, projects, homework assignments, and assessments that align with the course syllabus.
- Evaluate student submissions promptly and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their academic success.
- Maintain regular office hours, ensuring availability for at least one additional hour per week, whether in-person or virtually, to support student inquiries.
- Attend departmental and program meetings as required.
- Employ effective teaching methodologies, providing clear and coherent instruction relevant to your course content.
- Utilize available technology to enhance the educational experience for students.
- Ensure attendance at all scheduled class periods as indicated in the academic calendar.
- Submit mid-semester and final grades to the Registrar’s Office in a timely manner, and leave course records with the department chairperson after the course concludes.
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment that promotes student learning and achievement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Chemistry or related fields.
- Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
- Dedication to working with a diverse student population and fostering an inclusive environment.
- Capability to leverage available technology to enrich learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- A master’s degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field from a regionally accredited institution is required to teach undergraduate courses.

- Non-Terminal Degree & 0-6 credits experience: $3,000
- Terminal Degree & 0-6 credits experience: $3,200
