Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 2-6 credits of instructional time with students.
- Develop and deliver stimulating lectures, projects, and assessments aligned with the course syllabus.
- Provide timely grading and constructive feedback to facilitate student success.
- Hold regular office hours, along with an additional hour each week, either in-person or virtually, to support students.
- Participate in program and departmental meetings as needed.
- Implement effective teaching strategies and provide clear instruction regarding course content.
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance the educational experience.
- Adhere to the academic calendar by meeting all scheduled class periods.
- Submit mid-term and final grades punctually to the Registrar’s Office and provide course records to the department chair following course completion.
- Create a nurturing atmosphere that encourages student learning and achievement.
- Proficiency in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to craft engaging lectures, assignments, and assessments.
- Strong communication skills for delivering constructive feedback.
- Competency in using technology to foster an enriched learning environment.
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere.
- A master's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited institution is mandatory for teaching undergraduate courses.
- Prior teaching experience is highly desirable.

- Non-Terminal Degree & 0-6 credits experience: $3,000
- Terminal Degree & 0-6 credits experience: $3,200
