Adjunct Faculty - Remote Chemistry Teaching Opportunity

Job Overview

We are currently looking for qualified individuals to assume part-time adjunct faculty roles within the Chemistry Department for the Spring 2025, Summer 2025, and Fall 2025 academic terms. This opportunity allows for teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses completely online.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 2-6 credits of instructional time with students.
• Develop and deliver stimulating lectures, projects, and assessments aligned with the course syllabus.
• Provide timely grading and constructive feedback to facilitate student success.
• Hold regular office hours, along with an additional hour each week, either in-person or virtually, to support students.
• Participate in program and departmental meetings as needed.
• Implement effective teaching strategies and provide clear instruction regarding course content.
• Utilize technology effectively to enhance the educational experience.
• Adhere to the academic calendar by meeting all scheduled class periods.
• Submit mid-term and final grades punctually to the Registrar’s Office and provide course records to the department chair following course completion.
• Create a nurturing atmosphere that encourages student learning and achievement.

Compensation And Benefits

• Non-Terminal Degree & 0-6 credits experience: $3,000
• Terminal Degree & 0-6 credits experience: $3,200
