Bilingual Remote Behavior Specialist | WFH

Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and bilingual Behavior Specialist to join our esteemed team in a remote capacity. This fulfilling position is pivotal in assisting children and young adults with developmental disabilities as they strive to achieve their utmost potential. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of Special Education Teachers and Behavior Analysts to execute tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Support: Deploy evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies, including Behavior Skills Training (BST) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS) techniques.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Meticulously monitor student progress, evaluate data, and communicate insights to the team.
• Student Care: Deliver direct care that ensures student safety and well-being while applying therapeutic interventions.
• Collaboration: Partner with families, educators, and various professionals to guarantee a cohesive approach to student support.
• Community Engagement: Assist students during community outings and vocational placements as necessary.
• Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and skill enhancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is mandatory.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Proficient in data collection and analysis.
