Key Responsibilities
- Direct Support: Deploy evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies, including Behavior Skills Training (BST) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS) techniques.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Meticulously monitor student progress, evaluate data, and communicate insights to the team.
- Student Care: Deliver direct care that ensures student safety and well-being while applying therapeutic interventions.
- Collaboration: Partner with families, educators, and various professionals to guarantee a cohesive approach to student support.
- Community Engagement: Assist students during community outings and vocational placements as necessary.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and skill enhancement opportunities.
- Passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of children and young adults.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset, thriving in collaborative environments.
- Patient and understanding, able to effectively manage challenging behaviors.
- Dependable and responsible, exhibiting a strong work ethic.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is mandatory.
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
