Key Responsibilities
- Directly implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs, utilizing techniques such as Behavior Skills Training (BST) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS).
- Accurately monitor and document student progress, analyzing data and sharing insights with the team.
- Provide hands-on care, ensuring the safety and well-being of students while delivering therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with families, educators, and professionals to provide comprehensive support to students.
- Accompany students on community outings and vocational placements as required.
- Engage in continuous training and professional development initiatives.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational capabilities, enabling effective task management.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
- Patience and understanding in addressing challenging behaviors.
- Dependable and responsible, exhibiting a strong work ethic.
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is mandatory.
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous.
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis is required.
