Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and thorough instruction for assigned courses within the Medical Assisting curriculum.
- Facilitate bi-weekly live sessions via Zoom to foster student engagement and support.
- Maintain flexible availability for office hours and individualized meetings, ensuring comprehensive support for students.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on students’ academic progress through assessments and assignments.
- Proactively reach out to students in need of additional assistance, offering guidance and encouragement.
- Keep meticulous records of student performance, including attendance, and submit grades in accordance with university policies.
- Participate in ongoing meetings, training sessions, and professional development initiatives.
- Remain current with advancements and trends in the Medical Assisting field.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as mandated by university policies and faculty guidelines.
- Recent experience as a Medical Assistant or in a comparable role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to deliver engaging and effective instructional content.
- Ability to provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate students’ needs.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health or a related field is required.
- A Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Allied Health Management, Public Health, Medical Science, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar capacity is required.
