Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the delivery of educational services tailored for infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities, encompassing child screenings, assessments, and curriculum design.
- Oversee a dedicated team of home visitors and educators, ensuring they are equipped to address the educational and developmental needs of children.
- Create and implement professional development initiatives that cater to the unique strengths and needs of staff members.
- Work collaboratively with departments such as Health, Mental Health, Nutrition, and Family/Community Engagement Services to provide a well-rounded approach to child development.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations while maintaining meticulous record-keeping and reporting.
- Cultivate strategies for engaging parents as integral partners in their children’s educational journeys.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations of educational practices and services, utilizing data to drive improvements and achieve program objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
- Experience in developing and implementing professional development programs.
- In-depth knowledge of early childhood education regulations, particularly IDEA and Section 504.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a pertinent field.
- Minimum of two years of teaching and supervisory experience in early childhood or an educational setting.
- Strong familiarity with regulations related to IDEA and Section 504.
- Valid Driver's License, personal vehicle, and liability insurance required.
