Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead teachers to cultivate an engaging and positive learning atmosphere.
• Serve as a co-teacher/teaching assistant, assisting in lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Provide targeted support through one-on-one or small group instruction, reinforcing key concepts.
• Monitor and uphold scholarly behavior by reinforcing school policies and classroom guidelines.
• Assist with record-keeping and other administrative tasks to support teaching activities.
• Implement scientifically-based interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of students.
• Maintain communication with families and participate in team meetings to discuss student progress.
• Contribute to individual student success plans, ensuring inclusive support for all learners.
• Supervise student groups and facilitate smooth transitions between activities.
• Support lesson preparation and overall classroom organization.
• Assist with supervision during lunch, recess, and various administrative duties.
• Substitute for the classroom teacher during essential meetings or training sessions.
• Engage in reflective practices to continually enhance your instructional support skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of college education.
