Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality online instruction for first-year writing courses.
- Design and implement engaging lessons that cultivate writing, argumentation, and research skills.

- Where applicable, integrate Indigenous cultural frameworks to enrich course content and enhance student learning experiences.

- Minimum: A Master's degree in English, Composition, Rhetoric, or a closely related field, along with a minimum of two years of college-level teaching experience in English Composition or a related subject.

- Strong grasp of composition theory, rhetoric, and pedagogy in academic writing.
- Proficient in instructing students on constructing coherent arguments, organizing their thoughts effectively, and engaging in research-based writing.
- Familiarity with citation styles such as MLA and APA, with knowledge of additional formats like Chicago and AMA being advantageous.
- Experience in teaching revision techniques for clarity, organization, and grammar.
- Competence in using digital tools, including plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin) and word processing applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
