Key Responsibilities

• Deliver both remote and on-site instructional assistance to facilitate student learning.
• Collaborate in the creation and execution of tailored educational plans for students, with a particular focus on bilingual and bicultural learners.
• Provide individualized and small-group tutoring to enhance academic understanding.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of instructional materials, including digital resources.
• Support the management of student records and documentation.
• Assist in administering assessments and scoring, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Facilitate independent study programs to encourage lifelong learning.
• Manage instructional resources and maintain an organized inventory.
• Cultivate a positive and motivating educational atmosphere that meets student needs.
• Use your bilingual skills to assist students with cultural and linguistic support.
• Serve as a translator to enhance communication for students with limited English proficiency.
• Guide students in leveraging technology to complete assignments effectively.

• Proficient command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Strong understanding of fundamental arithmetic concepts.
• Familiarity with ethical educational practices and guidelines.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and educational technology tools.

Qualifications

• Clearance for Tuberculosis (TB) is required prior to employment.
• Background clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ) is necessary.
• A Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, English, Spanish, Education, or Mathematics is essential.
• Experience working with rural or underserved communities is preferred but not mandatory.
• A valid driver's license and personal automobile insurance are required.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is necessary.
