We are on the lookout for an accomplished and engaging Course Instructor to spearhead the South Central Europe course. This program is meticulously crafted to equip U.S. government professionals with critical knowledge pertinent to Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management, organization, and delivery of impactful courses while nurturing an encouraging educational atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

As The Course Instructor, You Will

• Oversee Course Delivery: Take charge of course administration and presentation in both virtual and in-person formats to ensure an exceptional learning journey.
• Implement Dynamic Instruction: Employ innovative facilitation techniques encompassing lectures, discussions, and interactive group exercises tailored for adult learners.
• Coordinate Guest Speakers: Identify and engage relevant guest speakers from the governmental, academic, and business sectors to enrich course content.
• Prepare Course Content: Create and maintain current course materials in accordance with established templates and standards.
• Ensure Adaptability: Be prepared to fill in for any scheduled speaker or activity as required to maintain the course flow.
• Collaborate with Leadership: Engage with program management before and after each course to strategize, review, and enhance course delivery and content.
• Set Up Classroom Environment: Work with support teams to ensure both virtual and physical classrooms are adequately equipped for learning.
• Foster Evaluation and Feedback: Encourage course evaluations from participants and integrate constructive feedback for continual improvement.
  
  

Required Skills

Candidates should possess:

• Proven expertise in South Central Europe, demonstrated through published works or professional activities.
• A successful record of designing and facilitating engaging training sessions for adult learners utilizing interactive methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and familiarity with online learning technologies.
