Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans that cater to the distinct needs of each student, employing data-driven methodologies.
- Craft and facilitate engaging, interactive lessons in an online environment, tailoring your approach to accommodate various learning styles and needs.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral strategies to cultivate a positive and encouraging online learning atmosphere.
- Regularly monitor and assess student progress, adapting instructional strategies as necessary to ensure educational goals are achieved.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related discipline (Master’s degree is preferred).
- A valid Ohio teaching license featuring an Intervention Specialist endorsement, in compliance with the Ohio Department of Education licensure standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with a focus on personalized accommodations.
- Proven experience in remote instructional delivery, particularly for students needing specialized support.
- Exceptional communication skills to establish rapport and collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
- Proficiency in digital learning platforms and assistive technologies that augment virtual teaching efforts.
- A bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a relevant field.
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist Certification.
