Key Responsibilities
- Tailor and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the unique needs of students in a virtual environment.
- Develop, assess, and revise individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations, collaborating with fellow educators for effective implementation.
- Partner with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and ensure optimal support for all learners.
- Maintain comprehensive records of student progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
- Conduct virtual consultations with students, guardians, and colleagues to provide updates, discuss academic goals, and strategize for student success.

- Competence in working independently while fostering collaboration within a remote team.
- Master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
- Active South Carolina teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in a classroom setting.
