Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Special Education Teacher to join our innovative virtual learning community. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging, individualized instructional strategies using virtual platforms to accommodate various learning styles.

• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers to ensure the integration of appropriate accommodations and modifications for students.
• Maintain meticulous records of student progress and development for ongoing assessment and improvement.
• Conduct virtual meetings with parents, colleagues, and stakeholders to discuss and assess student needs and achievements.
• Assist parents/guardians in adopting effective learning strategies at home.
• Engage in continuous professional development and collaborate with peers to enhance instructional techniques.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Special Education or a closely related field.
• A valid teaching license in South Carolina, specifically with a Special Education endorsement.
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a formal educational setting.
