Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized mentoring to students, offering guidance and support throughout their learning journey.
- Assist students in navigating course materials and clarifying concepts covered in the program.
- Track individual student progress through assignments, practical tasks, quizzes, and exams, delivering timely feedback to enhance their learning outcomes.
- Utilize the learning management system to access course syllabi, assignments, and other resources to elevate student engagement.
- Engage in live sessions through the virtual classroom platform, supporting instructors in content delivery and facilitating interactive discussions.
- Tailor teaching methodologies to accommodate various learning styles, helping students connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
- Conduct student consultations during office hours, through scheduled appointments, or via virtual platforms, phone, or email.
- Participate in orientation sessions to familiarize yourself with internal processes and online teaching tools.
- Respond promptly to student inquiries, committing to providing feedback within 48 hours.
- Comprehensive knowledge in the relevant healthcare discipline.
- Proven success in teaching adult learners and delivering an engaging, effective educational experience.
- Strong commitment to excellence in mentoring and guiding students towards their academic goals.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology for teaching and communication purposes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational capabilities and effective time management skills.
- A collaborative and approachable demeanor to foster positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Experience in teaching fully online or hybrid courses is preferred.
- Current and valid “Certified Professional Coder” (CPC) certification.
- Previous teaching experience, especially with adult learners or in a corporate training setting, is highly desirable.
- Experience in delivering online courses is an advantage.
- 2-3 years of experience in medical coding, auditing, or a related field.
