We invite passionate and committed individuals to join our esteemed team as Online Teaching Assistants (TAs) for our Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) program. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to students as they navigate their educational paths in the Certified Professional Biller Training course. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while positively impacting students’ success in the medical billing field.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored one-on-one guidance to students throughout their learning experience, ensuring they meet course objectives.
• Assist students in proficiently navigating course materials and resources.
• Monitor and assess student progress across various assignments and practical tasks, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Utilize our online learning management system (LMS) to manage course content, assignments, and student communications.
• Support live virtual sessions, facilitating interactive and engaging educational experiences alongside faculty.
• Modify teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning preferences, incorporating real-world applications into assignments.
• Be accessible for student inquiries and guidance during designated office hours via virtual platforms.
• Participate in orientation sessions to familiarize yourself with our policies, procedures, and LMS functionalities.
• Respond to student questions and coaching inquiries within a 48-hour timeframe to ensure prompt support.
  
  

Required Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of the relevant discipline and up-to-date industry practices.
• Proven expertise in teaching and mentoring adult learners, particularly in an online framework.
• Strong commitment to delivering exemplary support and guidance to students.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology for online education, inclusive of LMS and virtual classroom tools.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with a capacity to respond swiftly to student inquiries.
• Ability to cultivate positive rapport with students and colleagues, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
• Experience in teaching within fully online or hybrid formats is advantageous.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Biller (CPB).
• Preferred experience in teaching or mentoring adult learners, especially in a corporate educational setting.
• Previous online teaching experience is a plus.
• 2-3 years of practical experience in production coding or auditing is required.
