Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, one-on-one mentoring to students, ensuring they remain on track to achieve their learning objectives.
- Assist students in effectively navigating course materials and available resources.
- Assess and monitor individual student progress, providing constructive feedback on assignments, quizzes, and practical exercises.
- Utilize the online learning management system (LMS) to manage course materials and maintain communication with students regarding course expectations.
- Participate in live sessions on our virtual classroom platform, assisting faculty in creating interactive and engaging learning experiences.
- Adapt instructional methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, offering engaging assignments that highlight the practical applications of course concepts.
- Provide guidance during designated office hours or by appointment via virtual platforms, email, or phone.
- Engage in orientation sessions to familiarize yourself with company policies, procedures, and the learning management system.
- Ensure timely support by responding to student inquiries within 48 hours.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the relevant discipline and current practices in the field.
- Proven ability to effectively teach and mentor adult learners, particularly in an online environment.
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional support and guidance to students.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology for online education, including learning management systems and virtual classroom tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities, with a capacity to respond quickly to student inquiries.
- Ability to cultivate positive relationships with students and colleagues, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Experience in teaching fully online or hybrid course formats is advantageous.
- Valid certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Biller (CPB).
- Preferred experience in teaching or mentoring adult learners, particularly in a corporate training context.
- Previous experience with online teaching is beneficial.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in production coding or auditing.
