Key Responsibilities

• Collaboration with Colleagues: Partner with general education teachers to guarantee that students receive appropriate accommodations and modifications to facilitate their academic advancement.
• Monitoring Student Progress: Regularly assess and document student progress, providing updates and maintaining compliance with necessary educational records.
• Virtual Communication: Conduct virtual meetings with parents, colleagues, and relevant parties to discuss student progress, address concerns, and cultivate strong relationships with families.
• Individual and Small Group Instruction: Deliver specialized instruction in both one-on-one and small group formats, providing personalized support tailored to each student.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Employ various digital tools and platforms to track student achievement and make informed, data-driven decisions to promote student growth.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background: A Master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
• Teaching Certification: A valid Nevada teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience in Special Education.
